"I think you have ADHD." a teacher told me in high school. I asked what it was and he said I couldn't stay focused on anything. I had looked up at everyone walking in and out of the lab that afternoon. I was constantly stopping what I was doing to see what someone else was doing. Unfortunately because of my ADHD, I forgot before I got

home and no one ever mentioned it to my parents. It wasn't till I was in my early forties that it was brought to my attention again. My hubby and I were always fussing because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't keep the house clean. I would clean all day but still, at the end of the day, clutter would be shoved in a corner somewhere. After 18 years of marriage, he was frustrated as to why I couldn't cope. I was on the verge of a meltdown. I had strived for years to behave and do what I was told, to be quiet, sit still, and stop fidgeting. And then one afternoon I was scrolling social media and noticed people talking about ADHD. One after another the stories all sounded like mine. Minds wouldn't be quiet, houses a mess, always forgetting. Then it clicked, "Maybe this is me." So I started my journey of discovering "Yes you do have ADHD."
